What swimming training would replace cardio + weight lifting?
I'm used to do ~40 minutes of cardio + 60 minutes of weight lifting/abs/neck + 15 minutes stretching.
Which swimming styles and how much time would be enough to replace what I'm used to do and get the same results?
well swimming is awsome for yr body. the cardio and stretching part is easy, just replace it with 40mins of laps and 15 mins of setching beforehand. but when u weight lifting u are working on specifc parts of yr body (chest, shoulders, neck) when u swim u can not target as easily. i would say do cardio in the pool but still work out at the gym. the stroke u should swim is mostly freestyle. unless u r a competive swimmer and know the others. themn do them all. good luck!
